Mildenhall History (before Mildenhall Vape Shop)
Mildenhall traces its roots back to the first known settlement during the Bronze Age (2500 – 800 BC). The name ‘Mildenhall’ means was first recorded in 1050 as ‘Mildenhale’ which historians identify as meaning ‘a nook of land’ that belonged to either a woman named ‘Milde’ or a man named ‘Milda’. The Domesday Book of 1086 lists what is now Mildenhall as belonging to the Abbot of St Edmunds with 64 households living in the town. Fast forward to 2020, and Mildenhall Vape Shack is Mildenhall’s only vape shop. They’ll be writing about us in years to come!
