FAQ – Vape Shops During Lockdown
Q. Why are vape shops closing in England?
A. The UK Government has imposed new restrictions across England starting today “to reduce social contact” as Covid-19 coronavirus cases are increasing in England. Vape shops in England are among the Government’s list of outlets which must remain closed from 5th November until 2nd December. The Government’s new measures mean our vape shops in Suffolk – Vape Shack Mildenhall and Vape Shack Stowmarket, must either “close or restrict how they provide goods and services” under the new rules.
Q. Are vape shops essential?
A. According to the Government, vape shops are considered non-essential. The official guidelines state that “non-essential retail, such as clothing and homeware stores, vehicle showrooms (other than for rental), betting shops, tailors, tobacco and vape shops, electronic goods and mobile phone shops, and market stalls selling non-essential goods” must close in England on November 5th 2020 – please note that this information may change.
Q. Can I order click-and-collect vape products during lockdown?
A. Yes, you can order your e-liquid and other vape products from My Online Vape Store during the lockdown, and collect your goods at our vape shops in Mildenhall and Stowmarket. The Government’s advice allows My Online Vape Store to “continue to be able to operate click-and-collect (where goods are pre-ordered and collected off the premises) and delivery services” so we will remain open for click-and-collect orders.
Q. When will UK vape shops re-open?
A. According to the UK Government’s latest update, vape shops in England will be able to re-open on Thursday 3rd December 2020.

A. Customers ordering vape products for click-and-collect during lockdown are kindly asked to wear a face covering when picking up their order, as this helps to protect everyone from the risk of infection.
